The LIBRARY GARAGE (151 6th Avenue North) and the METRO COURTHOUSE/PUBLIC SQUARE GARAGE (101 James Robertson Parkway) make up 2,323 spaces in the downtown parking inventory. The Nashville Downtown Partnership manages the Metro parking facilities, with an emphasis on customer service. The Park It! Downtown team focuses on making these facilities user-friendly.
The Library Garage has an all day rate of $6 and the Metro Courthouse/Public Square Garage is $12. The Library Garage offers a special event rate of just $4. While the Metro Courthouse/Public Square Garage offers a special event rate of $3 (however, Titans game days and LP Field events are $10 at the Public Square Garage)! Library patrons receive the first hour of parking free at the Library Garage, with $.75 per each additional 30 minute period for the next hour.
The Library Garage is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with easy access from either 6th Avenue North or 7th Avenue North. Within easy walking distance of the Nashville Convention Center, the Ryman, Gaylord Entertainment Center, and other venues, the $4 rate is a great bargain (after 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and always $4 on Saturday or Sunday).
The Metro Courthouse/Public Square Garage has entrances on James Robertson Parkway and Gay Street. It is very convenient for events at LP Field, on 2nd Avenue and Riverfront Park. Special $50/month rate for nighttime parking (4 pm - 7 am). This is especially convenient for people who live downtown and for employees in the hospitality industry.
