Be Cheap With Beep (Best Ever Event Parking)

  1. What is BEEP? A parking option (BEEP is Best Ever Event Parking!) for people attending Bridgestone Arena events or Schermerhorn Symphony evnts to have FREE PARKING at LP Field Lot R—and convenient shuttle service at $3 per person (round trip).
  2. Who is sponsoring BEEP? The Nashville Downtown Partnership initiated this pilot program in conjunction with the Metro Sports Authority who authorized parking at LP Field Lot R for potential evening and daytime use for Nashville Downtown Partnership shuttle initiatives.
  3. Why? When Music City Center construction began, several parking lots near Bridgestone Arena closed. Some other lots in the vicinity have increased their rates.
  4. Where is Lot R and how many parking spaces does it have? LP Field Lot R is easily accessible from I-65/I-24 via Exit 49 (Shelby Avenue), and is conveniently located near the Shelby Pedestrian Bridge. Lot R has 1,075 parking spaces.
  5. What hours will Lot R be open for BEEP? On the dates of Bridgestone Arena events, Lot R will be available from two hours before the event until 2 a.m. On the dates of Schermerhorn Symphony Center events, Lot R will be available from one hour before the event until 1 hour after the event.
  6. Could I park free at Lot R and walk to my event? Yes. Using the pedestrian bridge, you would have a 10 to 12-minute walk to the Arena or the Symphony Center.
  7. How often will the shuttles run? On Arena event dates, shuttles will run from two hours before start time until midnight. On Symphony Center event dates, shuttles will run from one hour before start time to 45 minutes after start time. Wait time for shuttles will be 10 minutes or less.
  8. How do I pay to ride the shuttle? A sales table will be staffed at Lot R near the shuttle pick-up point—during the times that the shuttles operate. Each rider will get a dated receipt which serves as your shuttle pass.
  9. How much are shuttle passes? $3 (cash only) per person round trip.
  10. Where is the shuttle drop-off point? When going to an Arena event the drop-off will be at the corner of 4th Avenue South and Demonbreun (near the Country Music Hall of Fame). When going to the Schermerhorn Symphony Center the drop-off will be at the 4th Avenue South entrance to the Symphony Center. These locations will also be the pick-up point for return to Lot R after the event.
  11. How far is the Bridgestone Arena from the shuttle drop-off point? About a 4-minute walk.
