Whenever you want to try a restaurant for lunch and don't have quite enough time to walk there and back, the free LunchLINE shuttle is your answer. Two of the Nashville Downtown Partnership's bright yellow Park It! Express shuttles make a 10-stop loop through downtown between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Signs at each stop display the familiar Park It! logo -- and you won't wait more than 10 minutes for the next shuttle. LunchLINE stops are conveniently located throughout the central business district-- on 2nd Avenue North, Union Street, 6th Avenue North, Church Street, 4th Avenue North, 9th Avenue North and Broadway.
In October, 2004, the Partnership revised the LunchLINE route to maximize its usefulness to riders. Factors considered included the utilization of each stop as well as the distance and the time between stops.
Initiated on Valentine's Day in 2001, the free time-saving LunchLINE is a great way for downtown employees to take advantage of the many choices for eating out or for running errands. With over 2,000 riders every month, the shuttles make working downtown even easier. Try it soon - and let us know what you think!
